Our Approach
Practical skills will be given to you in summary at the end of each session. We draw on scientific research, but this theory can only be useful if translated into practical realistic actions. Human issues are complex and many patients with co-occuring mental health problems feel overwhelmed with what to address first. We are trained to create a treatment plan based on what feels most dysfunctional for patients in areas that are most susceptible for change.
Balancing skills for change and acceptance is important with complex mental health. This is done through a strengths based approach. We take a diagnostic approach for the purpose of tailoring the right treatment plan. De-pathologising and De-stigmatising in diagnosing is a major value of ours.
